The Ministry of Finance of China, the General Administration of Customs, and the State Taxation Administration jointly announced that from December 1, 2024, the scope of implementation of the departure - port tax - refund policy will be further expanded. Multiple ports, including Wuxi (Jiangyin) Port, will be added, and the tax - refund process will be optimized, aiming to enhance the competitiveness of export enterprises and promote regional economic development.
With the continuous expansion of Chinas imported food market, ensuring food safety and quality has become a priority for the General Administration of Customs. Therefore, according to GACC Order No. 249, all overseas food exporters or agents exporting to China must register with the General Administration of Customs.
